Companions – New Start!

Hey U All!!!!!!

To the new Companions of Pathfinders 2011! Welcome guys!

This year is going to be great year, lets get ready to work!

Here is a recap of the assignments that where given out on Sunday:

1) Journal your thoughts by asking these questions:
• “What did I learn about God?”
• “What did I learn about Myself?”
• “How can I apply this to my life today?”

You may journal through writing and/or drawing.

2)  Illustrate the meaning of the Pathfinder song. As we discuss in class, you can use any media or approach on this. Have fun with it!

Here is the song again:

Oh, we are the Pathfinder Strong,
The servants of God are we
Faithful as we march along,
In kindness, truth, and purity
A Message to tell to the world
A truth that will set us free!
King Jesus the Savior’s coming back
For you, and me!

And here is one more assignment:
3) a. Memorize in order the names of the old Testament books of the Bible and the five groups into which they are grouped.
b. Demonstrate your ability to find any Old Testament book (we will do this in the next class meaning).

The third assignment will be done in the next class meeting, so be ready!

If you have any questions, you can reach me at AJuarez764@aol.com or at 588-6822.

Mr. Paolo

Meeting on February 20th

Companions!

Ms. Jocelyn will be covering my class during my absence on that day. I will be going to the Youth Rally and I have told her that ALL the homework that was on the list will be due that day. NO EXCEPTIONS!! You had a well over a month to finish the work. And with all the school days cancelled that should have been to your advantage to do some work. If you have any questions, call me or ask Ms. Jocelyn. Graci!

Mr. Paolo

Meeting for February 20, Swim Day for February 27

Because of the youth rally February 18-19, some of the older pathfinders will be coming back during pathfinders. Because of this, it was decided that the Friend and Companion classes will be the only ones meeting. Friends and Companions, make sure you are on-time and ready to go. Mr. Albert says his class has a lot of assignments due that day for the Friend class. Companion class, while Mr. Paolo will be gone, Ms. Jocelyn will be covering, so please make sure you will be on your best behavior for her!

Also remember that we will be having our next swimming class on February 27. We will meet at the church at 11:15 so that we can be over on post by 12:00.

Mr. Chris

URGENT Meeting!

I was looking over the stuff that we need to cover before investiture and we have some honors to tackle. Therefore, I’m calling a COMPANION day meeting at the church this Sunday, January 16 @ 10 am in the morning. I was going to use the 1 hour classwork time we have at our regular meeting but that is not enough time to go over instructions and do the task, especially since we are going to do Baking honor. So we need all the time we need to bake and prepare and clean up afterwards.
