Reminders during our break

Don’t forget to keep up with your booklet. If you don’t do them, you will NOT be invested to Rangers. I will be checking and asking for updates during the time between now and until our next meeting. It looked like you guys haven’t been doing your work. So get started on it, if you haven’t done so.

I will be posting an update here from between December 6 – December 18. So keep checking here to see the update. If you have time to check your facebook, you have time to check the Pathfinder website. NO excuses.

After you read this, comment below with the message saying “I, [insert your name here], will check the website from December 6 to December 18, DAILY!”

UPDATE DECEMBER 7

For the next 2 weeks you are to keep a record and graph the weather in 12-hours intervals. Include the temperature, moisture, cloud formation, and wind direction. You should have a total of 14 days of records and graphs.

Start familiarizing yourself with what the North Star, Big Dipper, Little Dipper, and Orion looks like. I will have pictures of these four stars and you will have to identify them correctly when we come back for our first meeting.

Update December 8

1. Make a list of 5 health laws given to Moses. Tell how they have been verified in modern times.

2. Discuss the effects of caffeine and related stimulants, and show how to avoid depression.

3. Prepare an oral or written report 250-words on 3 biblical prophets, OR name at least 10 Bible authors and their vocations and identify 3 of the original languages of the Bible.

You MUST send in these homework to my e-mail on December 18th.

My e-mail is trinocularmix@gmail.com. If you have any questions comment below.

Reminders for my Explorers

As I have said in class, we will work on honors instead, thus earning you guys more honors. So keep up with your booklets. Also, a reminder for you, our first honor that we will work on is the String Honor. This could possibly only take 30 minutes to learn, it is a very easy honor, so be prepared to do Tie-Dye Honor afterwards. This will take possibly couple meetings to finish. Thanks!

If you have any questions, please, please, please, please, please call me. I’m bored so I’ll be waiting.

Explorer Memo!

Make sure that you have read the verses for the weekly bible reading if you haven’t done so. I will ask you what each verse are commonly talking about. You will get a prize, IF you can tell me what the word is or describe to me somewhat close to the word, I will count that too. But you have to have an idea of what the verses are talking about. Call each other and help each other if you must. Remember, I didn’t say anything how you would get the answer as long as you’re doing the work.

What doesn’t belong in this list:

  • banana
  • sun
  • barney
  • sunflower
The FIRST person to tell me this will get another prize on Sunday. You have to whisper it to me. You only have one chance. If you answer wrong, that means the other people have the chance to win the prize. Good luck!
If you have any questions, call me @ 915-345-6926 and/or email me @ trinocularmix@gmail.com

See you guys Sunday and have a happy Sabbath.
