Hello All!
To the Soap Carving Honor/class. The homework assignment that was handed out some people were confused what the assignment was suppose to be. You are to carve OUT the first inital of your name, not carve a letter on the soap, but a 3-D carving of the letter. The bar of soap will be a shape of a letter. Use a plastic knife for now. We will change carving tools as the class moves forward. Please avoid any metal sharp knife or anything that has a super sharp edge for now.
Please, INFORM your parents of this honor class that you’ll be using carving tools for this course. If your soap breaks during the carving, guess what? Get another bar of soap. We will be using different brands of soap to see which soap craves the best. If you have questions, I can be emailed at AJuarez764@aol.com.
When your done craving, place your bar of soap in some kind of small box/container. Bars do break if they are drop – FYI. Also do not bring your soap to the next class if you used it for taking a shower or washing your hands – not acceptable guys.
