Arrival and our first night here
As I write this, our pathfinders sleep in their tents after a long day. It is very windy but God has protected us.
We got to the camporee at about 7:45 pm local time and from that point worked on setting up camp.
Tomorrow the events start and all of our hard work pays off.

Moving down the road
We made it to Kerrville at about 6 AM local time and the kids started snoring very quickly. When we go up a few short hours later, the staff at Mt. Villa made sure we had some breakfast waiting for us.
A big thank you to the staff as well as to Dioni for allowing us to crash there!
As I type this, we are headed toward Austin, Waco, and Lake Whitney Ranch. Watch our Twitter feed to follow us down the road!

Finally on our way
We are finally on our way!
We finally got moving much later than we planned but we are finally moving.
We will do our best to keep you all posted on our trip so keep checking the website throughout the week.

Camporee Looks to be Bigger Than Expected
In the past, the Texas Conference Pathfinder Camporee has had in the neighborhood of between 2500-3000 people.
This year is a little different.
In talking to the Pathfinder Director of the Texas Conference, it looks like it’s going to be even bigger. As of right now, they are looking at somewhere between 3500-4000 Pathfinders! This looks to be the biggest Pathfinder Camporee at least in recent history of the Texas Conference.

Supper on Wednesday
Please bring a sack lunch for Supper on Wednesday. All other meals will be provided but please bring a sack lunch for Wednesday night.

Are you missing patches on your uniform?
If you are missing any patches for your uniform, let Mr. Chris or Ms. Aimee know ASAP. These are things like the Club Crest, the conference patch (the hat), etc. rather than just the honor patches. If you do not have all of your patches on your uniform when we get inspected, we will lose points on your inspection, so please let us know so that we can get you your patches.
